Just about everything you would want from an MP3 player: The manufacturers have dubbed this the 4 in 1 MP3 player. It plays MP3s and WMAs and will hold just over 2 hours of either MP3s, WMAs or a combination thereof - fairly standard so far. The unit comes with 128MB of storage, and the storage media is removable - i.e., you can make different cards contain different albums and swap them on and off the Superdrive MP3 player as you change your mind about what you want to listen to. The unit comes with 128 MB as standard, but will hold cards of 256 MB, double the capacity (about 4 hours music), no problem.
Like its counterparts this MP3 Player can be used as a data storage device for moving data files around between home and office, university and mars, etc. So much easier, and lets not forget cooler, than carrying 88 diskettes around with you. The next feature should really be standard on all MP3 players. Particularly MP3 players of less than 5GB storage: A built-in FM tuner. If you only have one memory card's worth of music then it can get pretty repetitive on a long journey. Having the ability to switch to radio means that you can have random play and sheer choice offered by radio, plus your top 40 favourite tracks as a back-up. It also records voice direct to MP3, so that you can give yourself reminders, or record conversations if you so desire. A great package all round then, but this player has a killer blow - the price.
