This is the ultimate hand-held digital video recorder offering 130 hours of TV, VCR and DVD recording and portable entertainment in one pocketsize device!

Watch videos and view photos on the excellent 4-inch colour widescreen LCD; listen to and record music; or transfer photos directly from your digital camera or PC via the USB port. It features a convenient, one-time setup, TV cradle, an external speaker, and a built-in compact flash reader.

The 30GB Archos AV500 has a 30GB hard drive that can record up to 130 hours of video content from a TV, DVD, VCR or cable/satellite receiver using the TV cradle. The ARCHOS TV Scheduler automatically finds and records TV programs and movies for you. This remarkable device also allows you to view up to 300,000 digital photos and play up to 15,000 songs, with support for MP3, WMA (included protected files) and WAV digital audio files. And with the long-life, removable battery, you can get up to five hours of video or 12 hours of audio playback on one charge.

It can also be used as a portable hard drive for important computer files (PC and Mac compatible). Simply connect the device to your computer and the ARCHOS is detected as a secondary hard drive, just drag and drop your files. The AV-500 comes with stereo headphones, remote control, USB cable and a protective travel case. This extraordinary device is truly pocket-sized, measuring 5" x 3" x 1" and weighing a mere 9 oz.
