Yes, it sounds cheese-tastic, but the same basic features as the AV320 with double the storage capacity to an astounding (or if you prefer awesome) 40GB.

That translates to about 80 hours of video that you can watch on a TV, or on the big front screen, or just carry around in your pocket.

How does the AV 340 differ?

This is the top end for the 300 series. At a cost of £412.53 it does not seem cheap, but have a good look at what you get for your money. In terms of the features you get it is very impressive and lets face it, this portable video jukebox is tres cool.

As the name suggest and as we plainly state at the top of this page, this Audio Video 300 series model has 40 GB of storage space that can be used for music, Video or data storage. We're sure that you can do the maths, but that is 40,000 MB of storage space. Cost per GB is £10.31, not cheap, but the features on this video jukebox more than make up for that. This gadget has everything and those few extra things that would be nice to have are available as modules.

As with all Archos Video Jukeboxes, we recommend that everyone who has an AV340 also has a digital video recorder module, DVR100 module in this case, to enable them to record video when and where they want. Luckily when you buy either of the AV300s, you get the DVR as part of the package. Yes, it's included in the price.
