No. The Archos Multimedia Camera Module turns your Archos Multimedia into a 1.3 mega pixel digital camera and MPEG4 digital camcorder (including the ability to record an MP3 soundtrack). 1.3 megapixels is enough for most ordinary filming purposes. Its fun as opposed to professional, but since the whole set-up will fit in your pocket, its hard to knock it.

It plugs into the Multimedia's expansion slot giving it a 2X digital zoom lens and the LCD display becomes your viewfinder. Unlike ordinary digital cameras, with the Archos Multimedia Camera Module your storage capacity is limited only by the size of your Multimedia's hard disk space - 5,000 to 30,000 pictures (depending on resolution) or 30 to 50 hours of VHS quality MPEG4 videos.
